K-12 Education
Kids are already using AI, both in and out of school — and in ways schools are just beginning to understand. That raises real questions: how do we teach students about AI responsibly, when should schools use it and when shouldn't they, and what does it mean to educate young people who can now offload their own thinking to a chatbot? We're working through these questions with input from educators and school leaders across the state.
Already underway: We're running a cohort training program with the Rhode Island Department of Education to help build their staff's knowledge of AI. (Fall 2026)
