Responsible AI & Governance
Using AI well means knowing where it fails
Part of the Hub's job is to be honest about risk. We are starting to track harms that matter — like job disruption, data privacy, algorithmic bias, environmental impact, and intellectual property — along with guardrails that mitigate them, and tell Rhode Island companies, nonprofits, policymakers, and residents what we find.
A state that adopts AI without understanding where it fails will get worse outcomes than one that adopts it more carefully.
More coming soon — we're building out formal guidance and resources here.
