Nonprofit
Rhode Island's nonprofits have a real opportunity to use AI to serve more people, more effectively — and they also play a critical role in identifying and addressing the risks AI poses for the communities they serve. Many don't yet have the time, resources, or connections to do either well on their own. We're exploring ideas like capacity building, skills-based volunteering, and hackathons to help close that gap — and we're engaging nonprofit leaders and funders to help shape what comes next.
Already underway: We're partnering with Citizens Bank, through their Champions in Action program to deliver AI training to nonprofits on the responsible use of AI. Learn more about this opportunity for nonprofits.
